Terms of Service
Last updated 13 July 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Kuraplan, Inc. (“Ako”, “we”) for using Ako Learning. By using Ako you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Who can use Ako
You must be at least 18 and a parent, guardian, or teacher to create and manage an account. Children use Ako under your supervision — they don't hold their own accounts.
Your account
You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access secure. Give us accurate information and keep it current.
Acceptable use
- Use Ako for its purpose — a child's learning.
- Don't copy, scrape, resell, or reverse-engineer the service or its lessons.
- Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
Free lesson, subscriptions & billing
Your first lesson is free with no account or card. Full access requires a subscription.
Plans are billed through Stripe. An introductory offer (for example, a first month at a reduced price) applies once to new subscribers where shown; after the intro period the plan renews at the standard price.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime in settings — access continues to the end of the paid period. Prices may change with notice; changes apply to the next renewal.
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, but if something's wrong, email us — we're reasonable.
Content & intellectual property
Ako's lessons, software, and brand are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your family's or classroom's learning while your account is active.
Anything your child creates in a lesson (like a drawing) stays yours; you grant us the licence needed to operate the feature (for example, to generate an image from a sketch).
The AI tutor is a tool, not a professional
Ako is powered by AI. It's a helpful learning companion, not a substitute for a teacher, therapist, doctor, or other professional, and it can occasionally be wrong. Use judgement, and supervise young children.
Disclaimers & liability
Ako is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits any rights you have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Ako and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached or to protect the service and its users.
Governing law & changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware (without regard to conflict-of-laws rules). We may update them; material changes will be posted here and, where appropriate, emailed to you. Continued use means you accept the update.
